Robert was driving a lorry loaded with sheet steel, at a road junction the load moved forward crushing Robert in the cab of the lorry.

5 Edward Gould died when a horse and cart heading into the Interception Department struck him and the cart wheels ran over his head. Gould, Edward (X64)
 
6 Edwin died in the Halifax Infirmary as the result of injuries sustained when he and a workman (Joe Smith) were working on a scaffold in Pellon Lane, when a plank slipped, and the two men were thrown on to some railings below. Smith also died the same evening. Nelson, Edwin (X144)
